Dingwall National Exhibition
Dingwall Camera Club has run the Dingwall National Exhibition every year since 1977 - except in 2020, when it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Club, here in the North of Scotland, is recognised in the Photographic World for its National Exhibition, and this helps to keep the Scottish Highlands on the Photographic Map.
The Exhibition has gone from strength to strength over the years, with the total number of entries for the 2025 year reaching an amazing 5,006 images (see further statistics under the ‘National Exhibition’ drop-down menu or here).
In pre-COVID times, we held a National Exhibition Selection Weekend in Dingwall every year with Judges travelling from far and wide! However, after Covid, since everyone has become much more familiar with ‘Zoom’ sessions, the judging has been carried out online with an invited Panel of three PAGB-approved Judges, from separate parts of the Country, carrying out the selection process using ‘The PhotoExhib System and Management of Selection Procedure’ run by ‘BrightImaging’. The Club has designated Observers viewing the judging and, via a separate Zoom link, any Club Member can log in at any time over the weekend to see the images and their scores.
Some entry details:
-
There are four entry classes: Open Colour, Nature, Landscape and Monochrome.
-
A total of sixteen entries may be submitted, with a maximum of four entries in any one class.
-
Entries may be submitted online via the Exhibition website (a Link will be available on the Dingwall Camera Club website, every year, once the Exhibition is open for entries. This usually commences in late July, with a closing date in late September).
You can view the 2025 Digital Exhibition slideshows on the PHOTO Exhib Results website (link on the Statistics page mentioned above or here). We hope you will enjoy the slideshows and perhaps consider participating in the 2026 Dingwall National Exhibition. 😊😊
