Based in Dingwall, Ross-shire, the Club is one of the top Photography Clubs in the Highlands of Scotland. Our Members have a wide range of interests, experience and abilities, ranging from National Award Winners to fairly ‘new to photography’ Members who are keen to learn and develop their skills. The Club runs regular Workshop Evenings to inform and encourage new or less experienced Members - but even the ‘experts’ can garner useful tips from workshop sessions.
The Club meets every Monday evening from mid-September to mid-April in the hall at the back of the Church of Scotland on Castle Street, Dingwall (except during Christmas and Easter Holidays).
Our sessions are generally hybrid, with some Members present in the hall and some joining us online via Zoom. This allows ‘Country Members’ to participate and also means meetings can often still go ahead in cold, wintry weather when otherwise they may have had to be cancelled. In addition, the Zoom facility allows the club the flexibility to have some Presenters and Competition Judges join us from far-flung reaches of the UK -or even beyond.
Dingwall Camera Club is also known for running the Dingwall National Projected Image Exhibition- a National Competition which this year attracted 5006 entries from 478 entrants. See the relevant tab for details of the Competition and a link to a website showing all the award-winning images.
The images in the ‘slideshow’ on the right (or at the top of the page if you're on mobile) show the top photographs from the 2025-26 Club Competitions.
